The program Diploma in Pharmacy is a field of study within the realm of Science that concentrates on the study of pharmaceutical chemistry, biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, physiology, dispensing etc. The course educates students in various phases of pharmacy and makes them qualified to take numerous duties in the pharmaceutical sector. The groundwork in pharmacy sciences provides as a foundation for the advancement of various clinical skills in the regions of pharmacy that are patient oriented.

The program of Diploma in Pharmacy will produce pharmacist or technician who are:
  1. Knowledgeable and skillful in practicing the technique of pharmaceutical theories and concepts competently.

  4. Capable of using lifelong learning and creative technical skills to ensure lifelong development in the pharmaceutical field to be a successful entrepreneur in future.

Pharmacy is the art and science of dispensing and medicines, that involve in preparing and formulation of drugs, also educating about medicine. Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences, and it is charged with ensuring the safe effective use of pharmaceutical drugs under responsibilities of pharmacy. Without the existence of pharmacy, no hospital would run effectively. Professionals of Diploma in Pharmacy can work in the sectors such as:

  4. Community Health Centers
  5. Private Drug Stores

Entry Requirements :

  1. Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with three credits including Bahasa Malaysia, with one of the subjects of Science or Mathematics and other subjects and pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English or
  2. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a B grade in 3 subjects; or
  3. Pass the Certificate (Level 3 MOH) in the relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; or
  4. Other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
