Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacy KPT/JPS (FA 1927)08/24

Ph.D. in Pharmacy, offered by Lincoln University College, provides the students a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of pharmacy so that they are able to learn about the use as well as the mechanism of the varied types of drugs. Students are also taught about the new and advanced methods necessary for the formulation of design and diagnosis of investigations that are conducted. The aspect of diagnosis of investigations related to pharmacy enhances the critical thinking ability of the students so that they are able to contribute significantly to the field of pharmacy in the future.

For successful completion of PhD degree in LUC, each candidate should publish minimum of Four research articles in scopus indexed journals, with Lincoln affiliation.

We emphasize on the aspect of decision making so that the students are able to take correct decisions at the pre-clinical, clinical and the post-clinical approved stages related to the development and invention of new drugs. Thus our program will help the students to emerge as professionals, who would dedicate their life towards the advancement of healthcare by integrating the new biomedical research findings with their service or practice.
Our research and lecture sessions would also make the students capable enough to work as clinical educators or clinical scientists in the professional academic field.

Entry Requirements:

  1. Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or other related fields (Level 7, MOH); or
  2. Other recognized qualifications are equivalent to masters (Level 7, MOH) received by the Lincoln University College Senate.

English language requirements for international students:

  1. A minimum score of 500 in TOEFL (test of English as a Foreign Language); or
  2. A minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
