American Degree Transfer Programme in Arts and Humanities KPT/JPS (PA 7603) 09/22

The American Degree Transfer Programme is a well-balanced programme designed to impart knowledge of both ancient and modern languages, the performing arts, philosophy, world comparative religion, cultural studies, history, mass communication, and cultural anthropology, world politics and sociology. Lincoln University College offers the most established credit transfer and articulation agreements with American universities in Malaysia through our American Degree Transfer Program. ADP program in Malaysia usually have a credit-transfer option, which means that student can transfer to a university overseas to finish their degree after studying anywhere between 1- 3 years in Malaysia. Our extensive list of American and Canadian universities offers many options in terms of degree majors. The American degree generally takes 4 years to complete. Students have the option of transferring to a US university during year 2 or 3. ADTP students usually transfer as junior (3rd Year) students. An advantage of joining the ADTP is that the SAT/ACT exams are not required for admission to transfer. The program is exclusively designed according to the requirements of the global market so as to take advantage of classroom experiences that contribute towards the career building of the students. During the independent studies, the students will be encouraged to work with industry leaders, civic leaders, government leaders, governmental as well as non-governmental development agencies, and general public to assure that all outcomes of their independent thinking are linked with their individual growth as well as with the betterment of the society.

The primary aim of American Degree Transfer Programme is to provide knowledge and understanding for successful use of professional skills to attain better performance and operational efficiency in arts and humanities. This would ascertain developing the student’s intellectual ability and understand the need for creativity during the design of solutions to current issues. The programme of American Degree Transfer in Arts and Humanities will produce graduates who are

  •Capable to be a leader with good managerial and communicate effectively in implementing tasks and demonstrate entrepreneurship skill to create employment opportunities.

The American Degree Transfer Programme is designed to initiate a lasting connection to the arts for students as creators, viewers, or participants. This course is particularly valuable for the benefit of humanities and the social world, along with the international organizations to increase productivity through better societal practices. Entry Requirements :

  1. Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least 5 credits including subjects of English and pass in Bahasa Melayu; Or
  2. Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
