The program Bachelor in Fashion Design Management at Lincoln University College is a demanding specialist design management degree that prepares the aspirants for a dynamic career in fashion design management. The program is a perfect blend of design, management, and manufacturing components of the textile and garment industries. The program assists them in adapting to changing fashion trends and contributing to the development of new fashion trends via continual learning and practise, as well as upholding the cause of the environment and sustainable development through a dedication to morals, values, and ethics.

Program Aim

The program of Bachelor in Fashion Design Management (Honours) will produce professionals who are

• Able to incorporate in basic relevant knowledge, formulate and conduct problems effectively through critical thinking skills in fashion management practices.

• Capable of adopting practical measures with interpersonal accuracy through effective communication within a team in the designing of fashion.

• Competent to adopt the digital and numerical skills in managing scientific solution to complex problems in fashion management.

• Efficient to utilize leadership, autonomy, and responsive skills effectively to personally undergo entrepreneurial work in fashion management.

• Trained to empower integrity through professionalism and ethics in fashion management related task.

Career Opportunities

The program prepares the students for careers in Fashion Design Management and allied industries, where they will be able to contribute as a designer, manufacturer, event planner, manager, entrepreneur, and other creative, technical, and business-related fields.

Upon completion of the Bachelor in Fashion Design Management (Honours) program, the students will be prepared to pursue a career as a:

Entry Requirement:

A Pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (Grade Point [GP] 2.00) in any two subjects, or its equivalent; OR
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, or its equivalent; OR
A Certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00, or its equivalent; OR
A Diploma (Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework [MQF]) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent; OR
A pass in Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in suitable fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subject to Senate/Academic Board's approval (Note: The Higher Education Provider (HEPs) are to conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme); OR
A pass in DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and at least have two (2) years working experience in a related discipline; OR
Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
AND
Pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required.

For International Student:
Achieve a minimum score Band 3 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent
